It looks just like the product images. The gray material on the outside feels soft like a hoodie sweater, the inside brown polka dot is a semi-shiny polyester stretchy material. I think something softer/fluffier would've been better but it works find. The little chain can come off completely, and to attach it you wrap it around the handle and snap it onto itself. and the other end onto your dog's collar or harness.

quality is good, though this is only convenient for very small dogs, or rather cats. my miniature poodle 4 kg is too big for this carrier, do not fit in. also the strap is very short, if you have sweater or coat on you, you cannot hold the animal comfortably. I need to buy a bigger one for my dog.
